Challenge
Air Transat offers air transport services and travel deals from Canada to around the world. It is the first travel company specializing in travel holidays. 3 million passengers use the company's services in more than 25 countries. The NVI contract focused on their air transport branch. Air Transat launched their new site in the first quarter of 2009 and sought an evaluation and recommendations for search engine optimization (SEO). The company seeks to increase revenues brought in through the web.
Solution
An SEO site analysis was performed, and we identified what key elements could improve search engine performance. NVI then conducted keyword research to identify what search terms would attract the best traffic. Finally, NVI used these finding to create an SEO Tree for Air Transat - an SEO sitemap that outlines which pages should target which keywords, and what title and meta descriptions these pages should have.
Results
Air Transat has implemented many of NVI's recommendations which resulted in an overall improvement in the indexation of site pages- the first steps of the optimization process.
