At Pubcon 2009, our very own CEO, Guillaume Bouchard, was part of a panel called Social Media & Press Relations. As the panel’s descriptions stated:
The relationship between social media and press relations is red hot. Companies and PR agencies all over the country are have problems setting policy on how to tweet, when they tweet, who is cleared to tweet, and what about Facebook? Should my company be worried if our CEO puts a new resume on LinkedIn?
Guillaume’s presentation focused on how social has affected the world of public relations, and how companies can use social media to support their PR activities. He looked at social news sites, as well as more conversational media, such as social networks. Here’s the video.
