Simon Rouillier, the co-founder of NVI, Canada's front-running
interactive marketing agency, was among the 20 finalists competing for the
title of Entrepreneur of the Year in
Canada's inaugural Future Entrepreneurial Leader (FuEL) Awards.
Rouillier
says, "I am really proud to have been selected as a finalist for the FuEL
Awards. Innovation and leadership seem to run in my blood. I was expecting to
see at least 3-4 other Quebec entrepreneurs among the group however." Rouillier
was the only FuEL Award finalist from Quebec.
Before
tapping into the world of online marketing, Rouillier was the manager of a successful
College Pro Painters franchise. The experience sparked within him an
entrepreneurial flame, and in 2004 he joined forces with Search Marketing pioneer,
Guillaume Bouchard, to create NVI, one of the largest full-service interactive
marketing companies in Canada.
The FuEL
Awards, organized by PROFIT Magazine and KPMG Enterprise is a competition open
to all Canadian business owners under 30 years old. The event aims to identify and
recognize forward-thinking business role models in order to promote
entrepreneurship in Canada.
This
competition is a strong reflection of Rouillier's accomplishments and the
growth of NVI. "Many programs are in place to help entrepreneurs at both the provincial
and federal levels," says Rouillier. "Our economy and location offer access to
big markets like the US and Europe. These conditions are really helping
Canadian entrepreneurs succeed."
With
offices located in Montreal and Toronto, NVI is now Canada's largest SEO &
Social Media agency. NVI is one of few Canadian companies to offer a fully
integrated online approach. From web marketing to web development and search,
all of its services can be found under one roof, in a perfectly bilingual
environment. We work closely with clients to help them achieve their online
goals, identifying the tools needed to reach them and developing solutions that
generate results. NVI was ranked 28th on PROFIT 200's list of fastest
growing Canadian companies.
