Challenge
Reader's Digest is the first direct marketing company in Canada to offer paper and magazine publications online, with an average of 8.1 million readers each month. Reader's Digest called on NVI to raise the traffic on their site and build advertising revenue. RD also wished to raise the number of magazine subscriptions through the web site and online orders through their stores (books, CDs, DVDs).
Solution
NVI undertook an SEO analysis on three sites: Reader's Digest, Best Health Mag, and Selection. NVI also analyzed the usability of the online store, performed a keyword research and built an SEO Tree. NVI then developed pay per click and social marketing campaigns around targeted events, as well as banner ad initiatives designed to increase subscriptions.
Results
RD experienced a significant increase in traffic, as well as a considerable boost in search engine visibility.
